El Estado de Israel lo hizo 6 meses después de su propia declaración.

Israeli soldiers shot about 50 men at Safsaf on 29 October 1948 after the village surrendered.

Safsaf was a village in the Galilee near Safad. On 29 October 1948, during Operation Hiram, the 7th Brigade took it after the village had surrendered. According to the report of Yosef Nahmani, an official of the Jewish National Fund who toured the area in November and recorded what he heard from officers, about 52 men were tied together, dropped into a pit and shot, and several women were raped.

Morris found the account consistent with what the archive holds. The village was emptied and destroyed. The moshav Safsufa is on its land.
